Loire Valley Gites

We had the most perfect, tranquil and relaxing stay. Le Bois is the most beautiful gite we have stayed in and you will want for nothing. The weather was amazing and we uncovered even more treats from the local area. Our only regret was that we had to leave!! Can't wait for next visit and neither can our dog Barney who had the time of his life!!

"A Tranquil setting to visit to get away from it all."

What an absolutlely beautiful little gem we have found.Every thing and everyone from the caring owner to the lovely english couple Kevin and Sue who manage the gite made our stay a memorable one.The idyllic settingwas just what we were after for our early spring break the tranquillity of the place made it spectacular especially after dark when we sat out on the patio with a bottle of the local red wine star gazing in to the clear night sky (something you dont really get with all the light poloution living near to a city) The accomadation was of such a high standard having only recently been renovated giving us all the home comforts of the twenty first century that we needed and i would like to congratulate the owners on achieving this whilst keeping the charming caracteristics that this delightful property holds. The shower in the wet room invigorating (pure heaven) We where blessed with glorious weather whilst we were there and this has definatley made us want to revisit very very soon a Delight-5 star*****.

"Xmas 2010 in France relaxing in comfort at a wonderful Gite"

The owner of this Gite was extremely helpful and nothing was too much trouble (considering I changed and extended our stay). The home was warm and inviting for us upon our arrival (a very nice touch in a cold European winter). Our extended stay of 10 days was extremely comfortable and the house size allowed the five of us to lounge, read, play cards and generally relax without feeling on top of each other. Overall a very enjoyable stay with a lovely Xmas dinner and walk into the local village afterwards to walk off all the excess food/drink partaken in.  All things considering this was a wonderful stay in a wonderful Gite in a very quiet and lovely location.

"Beautiful place to stay...you won't ant to leave!"

This was our first gite holiday in France. Booked a long weekend at Le Bois and the minute we got there we knew it wasnt going to be long enough. We spent our days sightseeing, wine tasting, shopping and a brilliant trip to the the Zoo at Doue... a must see even if you dont have children! The Gite is simply perfect. Very homely and beautifully furnished. Evenings spent with the fire lit drinking wine and eating cheese... :0) So taken with it we have already booked to go back for another long weekend in November. The perfect place to relax and forget your troubles. Not enough time to write all the brilliant things... go visit for yourself and you will love it too.
